I appreciate the chance given by my host University,NMBU, along with the Erasmus+ grant scheme which to some extent helped me to visit Örebro without having much financial pressure. Örebro University is located not very far from Oslo, only 4-5:00 hrs driving. Although the Swedish is the official language, most people do speak English. The media of instruction is English too which make easy for international students to communicate and integrate easily into the community without speaking their local languadge.
Above all the student
housing is amazing and comfortable, well equipped, very near and spacious
enough. The shared accommodation with other five joyful international students
was another unforgettable experience. The people working at the student housing
reception are very hospitable and cooperative too.
Was it difficult to get the
courses you wanted at the host university?
Not at all. This was already organized
by the program.so students don’t have to work about courses selection.
Did
you get all of the courses approved when back at NMBU?
Yes, I did.
Are you satisfied with the academic quality at the host university?
Yes, and I am preparing
myself for further research studies at the University.
How
beneficial was the Erasmus grant?
To
be honest, the financial support is not too much, but relief giving help to
stay abroad.
Did you obtain what you wanted by going on an exchange?
Yes, more than my
expectations.
